Federal Law: The PACT Act & T21
The federal Tobacco 21 (T21) law, signed in December 2019, raised the minimum age of sale of all tobacco products, including cigars, to 21 years old nationwide. The Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act further requires that any package containing tobacco be delivered only to a verified adult of legal purchasing age, who must show government-issued photo ID and sign for the shipment.
How We Verify Age
- On the website: every visitor must confirm a date of birth that calculates to 21 or older before entering the site.
- At checkout: by placing an order you certify, under penalty of perjury, that you are at least 21 and the recipient is at least 21.
- At delivery: our carriers require a government-issued photo ID and an adult signature (21+) before releasing the package. Packages are never left unattended.
- We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at any time if we cannot reasonably verify age.
It Is Illegal To:
- Misrepresent your age to enter the site or place an order.
- Purchase tobacco products on behalf of anyone under 21.
- Resell or distribute our cigars to a minor.
Violations may carry criminal penalties under federal and state law.
Parents & Guardians
If you share a device with someone under 21, please use parental-control tools to restrict access to tobacco-related websites. Tools like the FTC's Protecting Kids Online guide can help.
